Step 1: Lead-in

The teacher asks students questions: What kinds of party do you know? Have you been invited to a birthday party? And lead them to discuss.

Step 2: Pre-writing

(1) Match

(2) Complete the passage

Students can read the text again and complete the blanks with these words: in the end, while, first, then, after that.

(1) Make an outline

Step 5: Summary

Students summarize the organization of a descriptive composition of a party. If necessary, the teacher makes supplement.
